Francesca’s work includes contributions to The New York Times Motherlode blog, Brain, Child Magazine, Word Riot, Drunken Boat Literary Magazine, xojane, Ed Week/Teacher among others. She graduated from Stanford University with a BA and MA in Education and from Harvard University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, with a focus on writing education and feedback for improvement.
Francesca teaches a personal narrative course each year with Dr. Nancy Sommers at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She also teaches personal narrative workshops, and runs workshops on teaching writing. She works with young people on their college essays. Lastly, she loves to work with writers on in-process manuscripts so contact her if you need to whip something into shape.
Francesca lives in Newton, MA with her husband and two children. She is currently working on her first novel, DON'T LET GO and a memoir, LOVE SICK.
